Website spring clean
The Savings Banks Group is the oldest banking group in Finland and consists of independent Savings Banks, the Savings Banks’ Union Coop, the Central Bank of Savings Banks, Sp Mortgage Bank, Sp Fund Management Company, Sb Life Insurance, Sp-Koti and Savings Bank Services. (Source)
We did a surface level re-design for selected pages and elements. for Säästöpankki. Included a small viewable prototype of three pages, a component library and styles used in the concept.
My responsibility was to research what would be good to fix from the current layouts and create concept layouts and styles. For inspiration, I also went through a few sites that have same elements made differently. We decided to pull some inspiration from the Säästöpankki mobile app as well for more cohesive look.
We wanted to make contacting the bank smoother, so I created UI in which user chooses the role they are contacting as (as a customer, as a business or in behalf of someone else) and then corresponding form opens.
When communicating with the client my goal was to make sure that we were on the same page about the outcome of the project. We held regular meetings on how design was going so the client was on top of things since there was only a little time to finish everything.
End result is more clear and modern from the current page. The contact form was made so that both business and private customers forms where behind one click only.

- Benchmarking banks and other operators in the payment field such as ApplePay, Osuuspankki etc
- Taking meetings with the client weekly and presenting my work
- Creating a design system
